My little guy woke up in the middle of the night last night crying. I never heard him but j did and he was complaining that his eye hurt. He went back tosleep and then this morning wakes up and his eye is swollen shut. Yesterday I noticed he had the deep red circles under his eyes but I thought maybe he had some peanut butter or something. Nope iy was because that lovely stye as about to join the world. Any magic cure alls? Because I sure feel bad when he's trying to look out his one good eye. He then tells me someone may have punchedhis eye. Ha great. I feel like I'm going to get a phone call today from school...

Silly sleepy conversations.

I wake T up yesterday morning and tell him if he gets his clothes on he can watch upside down show. He sits up saying "mommy I love that show, I don't know why but I could watch it all night " I tell him what a silly boy he is and to hurry and get dressed and i head downstairs to turn the tv on.
He then tells me "mommy I'm smart but sometimes I say dumb stuff". Ha hmm now where did this come from? I went to sleep early the night before since I wasn't feeling good and him and j did dinner on their own. Apparently T had saidbsokething. At dinner that he was dumb. J went on to tell him that no he was smart but sometimes he says dumb stuff. Awesome. Out of everything he says when he opens his eyes he chooses to talk about upside down show and how he says dumb stuff. Amazing.

Upside down show

Has anyone ever heard of the upside down show? It is on nick Jr at about 11pm. T was up late one night watching cartoons in his room, only nick Jr. I love that channel!  Cartoon network has shows like king of the hill on late at night and that don't fly with me. So anyways he is upstairs and i hear him laughing hysterically. I go up there and he is laying on his bed watching this strange show. It is 2 brothers and you have a remote and they ask you to push the pause button or rewind button and then they do what button you push.  Of course it is not a real remote but t thinks it's the best thing ever. This show has been a life saver. I recorded 2 at night and then in the morning he gets right out of bed and gets dressed so he can watch the upside down show. As silly as it is to me he loves it. And that's all that matters. So I guess I'll have to listen to 2 grown men act like a silly children while my son laughs hysterically.  I think that's a nice compromise.

Mom, I'll get the 'structions

This will be my sons first year in T-ball. I am no where near ready for him to be this grown up or old enough to be in T-ball but it is something I must come to terms with.
He is so excited to start! I told him last night we are going for sign ups today. Well he thinks we are going to play, so I have to explain to him that we are only going to sign him up and pay money and get instructions for starting. This morning when I wake him up he tells me "Mom, I can get the instructions for T-ball by myself".
So not only is he starting tball but he is also able to do everything without mos help... Oh the joys!
